Following the success of its inaugural gala, Giving A Smile returns for another evening of philanthropy, entertainment and community, bringing together leaders from healthcare, business, entertainment and the nonprofit sector to support the Foundation’s mission of expanding access to essential dental care.
Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning actor Kelsey Grammer will return as Master of Ceremonies, guiding guests through an evening highlighting the Foundation’s impact, the young people it serves and its plans for the future.

Since its founding, the Giving A Smile Foundation has provided care and resources to more than 3,000 children and young adults. Through its free dental clinics, the Foundation brings together volunteer dental professionals and community partners to provide examinations, digital X-rays, cleanings, fillings, extractions and other necessary treatment at no cost to patients.
Preventive education is also central to the Foundation’s work, helping young patients understand how to care for their teeth and gums while building healthy habits that can last a lifetime.
The Foundation’s next major goal is the development of a permanent, standalone dental clinic capable of providing year-round care to underserved young people throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Proceeds from the 2026 Smile Under the Stars Gala will support the Foundation’s ongoing programs and its long-term vision for a dedicated year-round clinic, allowing the organization to provide greater continuity of care and reach more patients in need. “For many families, dental treatment is delayed because of cost or limited access to care,” said Dr. Rodney Raanan, President and Co-Founder of Giving A Smile Foundation. “Our goal is to remove those barriers and create an environment where every young person can receive exceptional treatment simply because they need it.”
The 2026 Smile Under the Stars Gala will begin with red carpet arrivals at 5:30 p.m., followed by an evening program in The Beverly Hilton’s International Ballroom. Guests will enjoy an elegant dinner, live entertainment, special presentations, patient stories and opportunities to directly support the Foundation through live and silent auctions and additional fundraising moments.
The Foundation anticipates welcoming hundreds of guests to this year’s event as Smile Under the Stars continues to grow as one of its most important annual fundraising and awareness initiatives. Beyond fundraising, the gala is designed to increase awareness of disparities in access to dental care while creating lasting partnerships among healthcare professionals, corporations, philanthropists, community organizations and supporters who share the Foundation’s mission.
